About Us

All our face-to-face activities have been suspended until further notice, so we have moved to the digital world.

Those who have previously attended a PD-Active course can join the new term (ten weeks) now running on Zoom.  See PD-Active

The Singing Group has also moved to Zoom. See Virtual Sing For Fun

This is the latest advice from Parkinson’s UK.

We have been asked by the NHS Trusts responsible for us to publish their NHS Guide to understanding and coping with the situation. For your local contacts see our Advice page.

In normal times and otherwise, we are the Mid Cornwall Branch and the West Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Branch of Parkinson’s UK.

  • Get the best out of life. We support people in Cornwall with Parkinson’s, their carers and their families
  • No-one should face Parkinson’s alone. We provide information about local health services and advice on how best to live with Parkinson’s

The Cornwall Branches of Parkinson’s UK logoOur work is funded by legacies and donations from local people and organisations.  Sponsored challenges feature in a wide range of money-raising activities organised by members and friends. We use the money to assist our local groups, on exercise and therapy activities designed for our needs, and for research.  Each Branch is led by a committee of volunteers elected at our AGMs in March.
