Exercise has great health benefits for everybody and exercising with music adds a special something. We all know that a good beat will get our toes tapping and this principal is at work to support these classes where group members say, “the exercise to music just lifts you”.

The music is carefully chosen to support different exercises so that you know you’ve exercised but you don’t feel too tired. Strength, balance and coordination are developed, and all this is good for your brain too. Participants say they feel comfortable having a go because they know other people understand if they can’t do something.

The class lasts an hour and is followed by a cup of tea and a chat because, “It’s nice to be able to talk to people with similar situations.”
